"Over the past few weeks I have applied these strategies to my class work and my schedule,
and it helped tremendously.”
Tyler Weiser, Salina, Kansas
"As a Harvard educated English teacher with over forty five years of teaching experience, I learned a great deal more about my own learning styles and how to apply this information to my teaching. Dr. Howell is a truly engaging speaker who personalized his own learning experiences, both positive and negative. He is dynamic and keeps his audience focused on his information. Now I'm going forth to apply his principles in my classes. Thank you Dr. Howell. We at St. John's Northwestern Military Academy benefited from your expertise.”

| Sneak Peaks and Teasers: |
1.) Learn the two most effective review times to get information to really stick in your brain.
2.) Discover the greatest note-taking system ever designed. It is NOT mind mapping.
3.) Double your reading speed in one minute AND remember more of what you read.
4.) Learn the single best study skills tip of all.
5.) Find out where to study, when to study, and how to study to make the most of your college experience.
6.) Use these techniques and guarantee that you will never fail a course in college.
- Strategy 1: You can succeed with just the first strategy. It’s an incredibly easy strategy. Just fill in a short blank. But talk about powerful. This strategy is the only one you need to succeed. I’ll share three amazing stories of individuals that succeeded in college just using the first tip. The first is Ryan Ramlow. He just graduated from high school in 2004. His story is so amazing that Paul Harvey has already used it on his “Now you know the Rest of the Story”. If Ryan can make it, anyone can. I sat down with Ryan a short time ago to find out what was the secret ingredient that helped him succeed? How do you go from a 1.5 GPA and flunking all your math classes for three years in secondary school to winning the Academic Decathlon and being crowned the top student in North America? Ryan said that my first point was all that he used. That alone motivated him. It’s my first tip. It is the MOTIVATOR.
- Strategy 2 addresses the #1 reason students fail.
- Strategy 7: Do you have a problem with procrastination? No problem. Strategy 7 is the #1 procrastination killer.
- Strategy 8: How can McDonald’s, iPods, DVDs and British Scuba Divers help you study better? That’s covered in strategy 8.
- Strategy 9: President John F. Kennedy was exasperated. His White House staff couldn’t get through information fast enough. Nuclear war was threatening the survival of humanity. The Russians were placing missiles in Cuba and the White House staff was analyzing tons of information but they were too slow. So JFK had the staff all trained by the world’s leading speed reading program. We will show you the top technique that was taught to the White House staff that might have helped to save the world. It will certainly help you read faster. This strategy will double your reading speed in less than a minute.
- Strategy 10: The Gold medal winning Chinese ping pong team focuses on their strengths. I took ping pong lessons when I lived in China. Wow. Focus on perfecting your strengths. Don’t even address your weakness. Just go crazy with your strengths. A guy who can only hit with his forehand, who cannot hit a backhand, wins the gold medal. Do you know what your study skill strengths are? Do you focus on them? Do you use them extensively?
