| 7 Habits of Highly Ineffective Students: A Humorous Guide to Better Grades |

This entertaining 30-minute presentation challenges, motivates and empowers students to improve their choices and habits. Often students learn best by seeing how not to do something. In this session, after each of the bad habits is presented, a number of strategies show how to prevent these habits from negatively impacting their experience at your school. Students will learn test taking, time management and vocabulary strategies in this multimedia enhanced performance. Each student leaves with at least one habit they pledge to work on for at least three weeks. The presentation ends with students voting for their favorite habits and strategies. |

In this session, after each of the bad habits is presented, a number of strategies show how to prevent these habits from negatively impacting their experience at your school. Students will learn test taking, time management (delayed gratification) and goal setting strategies. In the end, students take the 21 day pledge to use the one strategy they feel will impact their lives in the biggest way. This is highly recommended for students in transition, especially 8th and 9th graders. |

Convocation or Keynote: This humorous 30 to 45-minute presentation is not only memorable, but challenges and motivates students to get moving in the right direction. This gets students to learn the three biggest keys to success in college in a high energy and humorous yet formal presentation. This presentation is directed at helping Freshman get a fantastic start in college.
Seminar or Workshop: This high energy seminar goes much deeper into the points covered and shares from three to ten of the critical variables for learning how to succeed in higher education. This will last anywhere from 60 minutes to 3 hours and is taylor made to fit your program needs. Each Freshman leaves with at least one habit they pledge to work on for at least three weeks. The presentation ends with students voting for their favorite habits and strategies. |

| One Size Does Not Fit All: Differentiated Teaching Strategies |
BASIC: This 45-minute professional development session offers strategies that can help teachers improve their teaching results with students of multiple learning styles. After identifying sensory modalities (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic), environmental factors (Rita Dunn's work at St. John’s University), brain-based hemispheres (left and right brain) and 4MAT styles (imaginative, analytical, pragmatic, dynamic) we will analyze how these diverse learners are impacted by the current teaching practices at your school. Teachers learn New strategies and pedagogical techniques will be discussed on how to address and really reach varied student styles and how to get these students to succeed.

| ENHANCED: In this three hour professional development session, teachers are given the sensory modality, brain-hemispheres and 4MAT assessments before covering the materials listed above in the BASIC program. After teachers identify their own styles of learning, these materials are received with much greater impact. |

| 3 Programs for Students, Teacher and Parents -- in 1 Day |
| Impact the entire school community with 3 separate programs in one day. During the school day, we give one or two of our "7 Habits" presentations to freshmen students. Immediately after school, we teach our 45-minute Differentiated Teaching Strategies program with teachers. Later that evening we spend 90 minutes with seniors (only) and their parents covering the 10 strategies that will guarantee them success in college. By taking advantage of this program, administrators can reach students, teachers and parents with high impact strategies that are sure to raise not only your test scores, but also your status as an effective leader in your community. |

He is an Associate Professor at Emporia State University, home of The National Teachers Hall of Fame. His passion for study skills and the learning process has emerged from his years of research on the brain and learning styles. |
